Your Success is My Purpose

I get it. You want to count the cost before you build.

You want to be as educated as possible so that you can dive into this publishing and literary world with confidence and a bit of security that you're going to swim instead of sink

But when you start taking every single course, workshop, challenge, reading every single book on the subject matter, or attending every conference and retreat - and then using it as an excuse to not just go ahead and get started on building your vision out - then nine times out of ten you are not going to achieve your goals and the measure of success you have for your vision. Either that or you are going to delay it tremendously. All while watching someone else (who had the courage to go for it and get it done) win and succeed.

"What God has for me is for me." True . . . until you don't move your feet to meet God at the promise, and then He has to use a ram in the bush! AKA, that person who was sitting in the seat next to you who wasn't afraid to make a move. Or who maybe was afraid but did it anyway.

You'll still be showing up every month at that same event using that same ole excuse as to why you are still in the same spot you were in the previous month. And the month before that. Before you know it, you're going to look up and the person who used to be sitting next to you all those months ago is now standing in the front of the room being paid to present at the event. Getting paid to share information about their brand, business, products, and services in the process of adding value and benefit to the lives of everyone in the room.

"Joylynn, are you telling us not to read the books, take the courses, or attend the conferences?"

Absolutely not! You're looking at the very person who writes the books, sells the courses, and hosts the conferences. But what I am saying is I'd rather not see you carrying my book around, repeatedly sitting in the seats of my conferences, and signing up for my courses if you are not going to push go and implement and execute the tools, information, and resources I equip, educate, and empower you with. That's making both you and my brand look bad. Because, my friend, I'm not in the clear just because your check clears.

My success is based on the success of the people I help win. So, if you don't win, I don't win. And ask anybody who has ever worked with me . . . I'm not too fond of losing.

In short, my clients are not my products, but their success is my purpose.

So, yes, read my book: Your Book Is Your Business: Money-Making Sales Strategies.
