You have the solution to 99% of your own problems, but sometimes you just need a Business Subject Matter & Storytelling Expert like Path To Publishing's and Path To Connections' own, Joylynn M. Ross, to equip, educate, and empower you with the tools, information, and resources needed to unearth it.
Whether Joylynn is teaching, speaking, or lecturing in the literary and publishing industry, entertainment or education, or to entrepreneurs, business owners, and the leaders, executives, and team members at corporations, government agencies, and nonprofits, all roads to overcome obstacles, challenges, issues, problems, and pain (points) lead to one thing . . .
The fact that relationship currency is PRICELESS and connections are your BIGGEST ASSETS!
Below is a link to a workshop Joylynn taught for SCORE of the same title. In the workshop Joylynn is teaching you how to maximize, optimize, and monetize the natural, organic, and genuine connections you make and relationships you build from those connections.
"I think I'm going to start making this a prerequisite for anyone attending my programs, events, and conferences," Joylynn jokingly commented on a social media post, ". . . or anyone else's for that matter."
"I used to be intentional about what I can get out of every event I go to," Joylynn stated during a workshop she was instructing, "but now I'm intentional about what I can give: an ear (because listening is a service, too), a tip, suggestion, link to a free course . . . sometimes, as a paid, professional speaker, I even speak for free at events—because of my connection and relationship to the organizer. But somehow, I manage to reap from whatever I sowed. Prime example, the last event I spoke at for free, I made $6500 from people who signed up to work with me or invested in my services and products. Not just after hearing me speak, but because of how I connected with them after I spoke."
Joylynn continued, "My goal was not to get clients or business. It was to share. To serve that room as much information as I could in the time allowed . . . and then listen. Listen to the many, many stories that were shared after my presentation . . . learning about people's different needs and problems, and then presenting solutions that I have to address and/or solve them."
Connections, relationship building, and serving—in addition to teaching others how to do the same—is the primary way to expand your reach, both in-person in real time and online.
