Put in the Work to Achieve Success

"It’s really not an ego thing when I say that anybody who invested in Path To Publishing services, products, conferences, teachings, consulting packages and did not win did not do the work," says Path To Publishing CEO, Joylynn M.Ross.

If you want the same results as the person who is coaching, consulting, and mentoring you, then you have to have the same work ethic as them. Be honest with yourself before you cut that check or sign that contract.

Watch how they are moving in their industry. If you are not willing to duplicate their efforts, if you get tired just by going down their newsfeed, then you need not waste your time and money trying to work and partner with them.

Here is an example of someone who came to the very first Act Like an Author, Think Like a Business conference, invested in PTP consulting services, invested in our curriculum, and even attended future conferences and workshops.

And did the work.

And is still doing the work.

And understands that even with a fiction book, corporations can be your client.

And understands that you can host successful events with other people‘s money through grants, connections, collaborations, partnerships, and relationships.

Shout out to original #pathfinder Colette R Harrell!

And if you will be in the Columbus, Ohio, area June 2027, be sure to check out her 4th annual Juneteenth event in partnership with and sponsored by Columbus Metropolitan Library and Greater Columbus Arts Council
