Make Sure Your Story Gets Told

"There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you." - Maya Angelou

November is National Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month. It's a time for us as a nation to recognize and honor the millions of people in this country who have been diagnosed with this terrible disease, as well as honor and support the family members and caretakers that stand with them through the long course of the disorder.

For Path To Publishing, we see the heartbreak of Alzheimer's for all that it is, but also specifically for the way it robs these individuals of their stories. Every person who has lived or lives now has a story to tell, and we fervently believe that every person should have a chance to share it.

"Anybody over fifty owes it to his family to write down everything that's happened during his life and pass it on." - Bill Clinton

There are approximately 50 million people worldwide suffering from Alzheimer's and other types of dementia, according to the World Health Organization, and nearly six million of them are in the United States.

This month, we ask you to keep these people in your thoughts and prayers. Educate yourself (https://www.alzheimers.gov/) on the signs and symptoms to watch out for, as well as learn how to help others do the same. We ask for you to reach out and support anyone you know who is caregiving for someone suffering from this disease. And we ask everyone to not only tell your own story but help others tell theirs, especially those at risk of losing them.

We can never know when the stories of our lives or our creative thoughts will no longer reside within us, so writing them now is so very important.

At Path To Publishing, we are here to help you do that. It's more than our job, it's a passion. You can schedule a free 15-minute literary consulting call with us to see what we can do to help you share your story, for yourself and for everyone who needs to hear it, so it can never be lost.

Please visit https://app.10to8.com/book/gmerivvtrtwgsyuezivgt-free/ to do so. Remember to choose the free 15-minute literary consulting call option. Or, if you are already writing or have written your story but need professional direction and guidance on your next steps, you can choose either our 30-minute or 60-minute paid literary consulting call.
