“He was so serious about it that he didn’t seem to be having any fun.”

The above quote is what Joe Pesci’s character said about Robert De Niro’s character in the movie Casino. He loved everything about gambling and the casino life, but he took it so seriously that he wasn’t having any fun doing what he loved.

Does that sound a lot like you when it comes to being an author marketing and promoting your work? Up until a few years ago, it was definitely me. When being an entrepreneur—when doing the one thing I loved and would do even if I didn’t get paid—started to not be so fun anymore, that was a problem for me. After all, what good is it being an entrepreneur if you’re still going to grumble when it’s time to get to work? Being an author and running a book business was something I chose, not something I felt I had to do in order to keep a roof over my head.

Writing a book, publishing a book, selling a book, being an author and running a literary empire is, no doubt, serious business. That doesn’t mean it can’t be fun, which is why Path To Publishing built an interactive Members Only section on its website.

For only $49 a year, you get to experience what’s been coined as a “literary theme park.” It offers fun writing and publishing insights designed to help guide you down the road toward literary success. For only $49 per year, not only will you receive professional literary and publishing advice, tips, techniques, strategies and information, but you will receive writingadvice, tips and suggestions as well.

Editor and literary agent, Dr. Maxine Thompson, known in the literary industry at a book doctor, will help you build and fix your book up with her column, "The Book Mechanic."

The Path To Publishing paid website welcomes the literary industry's own version of "Dear Abby," author Nigeria Lockley and her "Plans, Passion and Purpose" column.

There will also be articles featuring authors sharing their literary endeavors, journey, lessons, secrets, tips, and some out-of-the box (and book) resources they use to market, promote, and sell their books.

Experience the members only "Critique Corner" as well as the "Literary Ark," where authors pair up to cross-promote one another. You don't want to miss out on any of the "Quick Vips," short video tips and advice to keep you on the right path toward reaching your literary goals. And what's better than tips and advice from experts on how you can market and promote your book for free?

Your paid website membership allows you access to chats and discussions from Path To Publishing instructors and literary professionals. There will also be opportunities for members to participate in Q&A sessions with authors, agents, book club presidents and members, as well as other literary professionals.

No matter where you are on the road to literary success, there is always something you can learn . . . and teach. The Path To Publishing paid website is just the right place to do so.
