Judging a Book Publisher by Its Cover Designer

The queen of repurposing content is back at it!

This time, I want to share an article I stumbled upon in the Henderson Writers Group Facebook group.

Those of you who have been #Pathfinders for quite some time have probably heard me talk about this amazing group several times. In my Act Like an Author, Think Like a Business annual conference Day 1 curriculum (Beyond the Basics of Publishing), I share why it's important to belong to a writers group—for accountability, critiques, etc.—and I mention Henderson Writers Group by name when sharing resources on the topic.

Yes, they are in the Las Vegas, Nevada, area, but they have virtual meetings that you can participate in, as well as host an annual conference (Las Vegas Writers Conference). So, you might want to consider joining.

But while you consider that, I want to get back to the gem I stumbled on in their FB group that I now want to share with you . . . with the permission of the author of the article, of course.

"Judging a Book Publisher by Its Cover Designer" written by Lauryne Wright is quite a fascinating piece on the pros and cons of self-publishing and traditional publishing in regard to cover designs.

Click here to read the article. I hope you enjoy Lauryne's enlightening perspective and narrative as much as I did.

Blessings!
