Fight the Machine, Not Other Authors

For the authors out there who automatically assume other authors are stealing your work—your thoughts, ideas, concepts, storylines, plots, and so on:
Firstly, very few storylines are original. Instead, they are simply told in a unique voice and style.
Secondly, your work was used to train AI. So, when some authors, in the name of helping them better hone their craft, use AI for assistance in writing their books—or when the random Suzy or Joe you see on all those YouTube ads telling you about how they make $60k a month using AI to write books for them and then sell them on Amazon—guess what? AI is using YOUR work to help them write their books. Have you ever considered that?
So, before you go calling people out on social media, go join the tons of class action suits other authors and publishers are a part of.

Let's fight the machine, not each other.

P.S. If you haven't already done so, be sure to register for the 8th annual "Act Like an Author, Think Like a Business" conference being held online December 6-7, 2025. |
Path To Publishing CEO, Joylynn M. Ross, will be teaching more about AI and copyright via Zoom live, in real time. This is not a pre-recorded video conference. |

So, be ready to be educated, empowered, and entertained by the best!
Yes, you heard right: entertained.
One conference-goer once said, "I've never experienced any literary or publishing event that comes close to what you offer and deliver. It was a cross between a one-woman show and a masters in publishing program. I laughed while learning."
Register now at pathtopublishing.com/conference.
